Making Sugar Free Bran Muffins.

Bran Muffins are one of the most popular and healthy of all muffins. Moist and delicious. For those who want to watch their sugar intake here is a sugar free recipe that uses splenda that you can prepare in your own kitchen. The sugar free splenda bran muffin recipe is as follows:

Sugar Free Bran Muffins Recipe


INGREDIENTS
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 cups wheat bran
1 cup wheat germ
1 cup flaxseed meal
1-1/2 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup Splenda
1 16 oz. can crushed pineapple (drain)
1 cup buttermilk
1/8 cup virgin olive oil
2 eggs
1 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup raisins (chopped if desired)
1/2 cup apple sauce
1/2 cup chopped apples
1 cup grated carrots

Mix wheat flower, wheat bran, wheat germ, flaxseed meal, baking powder, baking soda and splenda together in a large bowl.
Mix remaining ingredients in another bowl mixing well.
Stir all ingredients together until moistened.
Put muffin papers in muffin tins and spray lightly with PAM.
Fill and bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. Let cool. Enjoy.
