Applying Raised Pavement Markers using our Melt Down Thermoplastic Pads

Our melt down thermoplastic pads can quickly and easily adhere road markers to any asphalt surface. (For cement surfaces our butyl pads or epoxy is recommended.) This method of adhesion is best for higher traffic areas and more permanent applications. To apply the markers using the melt down thermoplastic pads simply clean the area, heat the asphalt, lay the pad down, continue to heat until the pad melts, apply the marker and then press it in. The pictures below show this method in detail. Please note that since you are heating a small area you can use a large torch like in the pictures below or a smaller hand torch.
