 CLICK HERE FOR AN INSTALLATION VIDEO Our 12" preformed thermoplastic pavement marking tape ROLLS are designed to stripe stop bars, crosswalks and any other area where heavy duty, high visibility delineation is needed. It is great for quickly creating crosswalks, stop pads, hazard areas, arrows and other markings. For crosswalks you use two single 12" lines spaced apart and for stop bars you use two side by side to form a 24" bar. For arrows you use an exacto knife to score the material and create the parts of the arrow. This product will last 5 times longer than paint, is reflective and best of all, you can put it down yourself. No contractor required. Our tape is simple to install using a broom and a propane torch. No contractor required. It is 90 mils thick and has a durable, reflective, non skid surface. Since this is a melt on type product the tape will conform and bond to moderately rough surfaces or smooth surfaces and is incredibly tough. When properly installed you will get years of service out of this material. It can handle any type of traffic. To apply simply broom or blow off the dry, oil free area to be striped, heat the area with a propane torch, lay out the stripe and then slowly heat the surface of the stripe until a permanent bond is created. Once the material has cooled the area is ready for traffic. Please refer to the link above for complete instructions. It is important for this product to be installed properly. Note-for cement or concrete surfaces such as warehouse floors you will need to use "thermobond" which can be ordered at the bottom of this page. It creates an excellent bond with cement or concrete and substantially reduces the amount of heat necessary to install the thermoplastic striping. Thermobond can also be used on on asphalt to reduce application time. To use thermobond you mix an amount that you can use within 15 minutes and apply to either the back of the stripe, the pavement surface, or to both if you wish. Then lay the stripe down and heat the top of the stripe with a torch until the material conforms to the surface. (note that it does not take a tremendous amount of heat to get the material to conform) The thermobond will set in about 15 minutes and at that point the stripes are ready for traffic. click below:  For bonding thermoplastic to cement surfaces use "thermobond". It is a heat activated adhesive specially designed for thermoplastic striping. Simply mix the amount you need, roll onto the ground or back of the stripe, lay on the ground and heat just enough to get the material to conform to the surface. The heat will activate the adhesive and create an excellent bond. Detailed instructions will be included with the thermobond. One gallon will adhere approximately 720 linear feet of 4" striping. Note - Thermobond may also be used on asphalt for superior bonding but is not necessary.) ($100.00 per gallon which includes shipping.
