The Compac 16, 19 and 23 Sailboats have been one of the more popular small cruisers ever built. It is not entirely a bluewater cruiser, however it is built very tough and is a very capable cruiser. Compac Sailboats are often a bit pricey but their features and trailerability make them a very popular choice for small sailboat enthusiasts.
The Com-pac 16 is a very popular sailboat and is built by Hutchins Yachts. It was first built in 1974 and there were over 2,800 produced. It is a small "pocket cruiser" sailboat and is considered to be quite seaworthy. Hutchins also produces the Compac 19 and 23 which are also very popular cruisers.
