Oralite V82 (AP1000) Reflective Tape Rolls - Type 5
Oralite V82 (AP1000) Retro Reflective Conspicuity Material. This is a Type V micro-prismatic retro-reflective sheeting, and the brightest tape in the Oralite line. It is similar to our Oralite SOLAS film but in colors. Designed for rugged outdoor use on the sides and rear of trucks, trailers, school buses, automobiles, farm equipment and all types of mobile and industrial equipment. The sheeting is designed with cube corner (micro-prismatic) retro-reflective elements that are bonded to a flexible, smooth-surfaced, weather-resistant, UV stabilized polymeric film. The backs of the prism surfaces are coated with a vacuum deposit of aluminum to provide a mirror surface to the prism facets. This results in a reflective tape that is not more than 0.006 inch thick and comes with an aggressive high-tack pressure sensitive adhesive. This is the highest quality prismatic tape available. Because it is made in one layer it DOES NOT come apart or delaminate like other brands.

Oralite V82 film is a 10 year prismatic retro reflective tape that exceeds ASTM D-4956 Type 5 standards. Because the tape is a “Type 5 Certified Tape” it can be used for MUTCD regulated sign sheeting applications (delineators & channelizers). It is the brightest and longest lasting class of tape in the Oralite (formerly Reflexite) line. Oralite (formerly Reflexite) V82 tape is about 10 times brighter than standard engineer grade tape and three times as bright as high intensity reflective. Light is reflected via micro prisms making the tape much brighter than glass bead type tapes. This allows the tape to be seen from much farther away. Thousands of feet versus hundreds. Oralite (formerly Reflexite) V82 tapes carry a 10 year outdoor rating. This tape is easy to handle and resists chipping and cracking.
We carry the V82 films in 1", 2", 3", 4" and 6" widths in 30 foot and 150 foot rolls. V82 prismatic reflective tapes can be used to mark emergency vehicles, fire trucks, ambulances, helmets, loading dock areas, bollards, poles, dumpsters, gates, barricades, tractor trailers, and more. It is a step above our V92 line of prismatic tapes and is comparable in thickness and feel without the triangle pattern lines. It is much like a colored equivalent of our Oralite SOLAS tape. A feature of the V82 (AP1000) tape is that it is a single layer design which means it will not delaminate like other reflective tapes.

About our Products - We carry a wide variety of reflective tapes. They are all branded and certified products. We stock almost everything that we sell in house and ship quickly. If a product is not in stock or is to be drop shipped, we will make you aware and specify a lead time. We carry Oralite and Nikkalite reflective tapes. Both are on QPL lists across the country and both are manufactured by reputable, global manufacturers. Our reflective tapes are rated for outdoor applications with life expectancies of from 5 - 12 years depending on the film. For applications where the tape is out of the weather like a fire truck in a firehouse, the life expectancy is longer.
Shipping - We ship quickly using US Mail for light boxes and UPS Ground for heavier ones. The majority of our products are in stock and ship out the same or next day. Delivery time is approximately 3-5 days on most standard orders.
Return and Order Cancellation Policy - Reflective tape orders can be cancelled until they are shipped out. After products are shipped, we accept returns in certain cases. If we have made a mistake and have shipped the wrong item, we remedy that at no cost to the customer. For returns where another item is purchased to replace an item purchased in error, we accept those with no restock fee. For all other returned items we apply a 10% restock fee.
